Aug/Sep Update... Repeating Messages

Updated: Oct 29, 2022

God’s Word has a way of “speaking” or “showing” us unlimited and repeated messages He wants us to incorporate into our lives. Our church (Timberline Church in Fort Collins) is doing a series on “worship.” Everything I’ve delved into these past weeks has unexpectedly dealt with worship.....and so I trust this letter’s theme will leave you praising the Lord, as I have also been learning to praise Him over and over. Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you

Rejoiced with writers club member, Kathy (right) as we celebrated her 80th birthday......she jumped out of a plane to celebrate!!!!!

Special treat! Former neighbor Tina now lives in Oregon. She visited recently .......She’s the one I’ve bragged about her artistic glass designs.......Never quits.....returned to Colorado to take more classes! So blessed to have her around again.....even for a couple hours. (I’ve been counting friends....lost count!! When I questioned the Lord’s moving us from place to pLace, I had no idea the riches of so many friends!)

Special treat....Niece Ruth (Pittman) Diepersloot from Santa Cruz,

California with dear husband Dave spent a couple days with me.....sightseeing in nearby places where Dave was born and spent part of his childhood. Pictured here was a fun morning spent at a “tourist trap” and “shoppers trap!”😌 with one of the bears!

We lived “around the corner” from my present home when we first moved to Colorado. The second owners after us are the Stewarts! Kari is the missions pastor at our church. (We didn’t know we had become neighbors until we saw each other!) Hubby Jeff and daughter brought the goodies from “Z’s” 19th birthday celebration and we shared sweet time celebrating “Z.”

Dear Alaskan/Colorado friend Susan is having doors open to share her story of God’s great goodness and leading, including her two kidney transplants. I get to hear her “story” as she develops it!.........Talk about WORSHIP! I always come away realizing what a great and mighty God we have! Here she is with nine-year-old son Benjamin and adorable granddaughter! (Yes.... Her daddy is the “little Mikey” I knew in Alaska!...and Benjamin loves being “Uncle!”)

At a recent monthly Writers Club I shared the devotional. Our theme was ideas for writing our families’ history. Sharing that families’ history was very central to the claims of Christ as Messiah in the line of David...... I shared the video on YouTube: ON MY FATHER’S SIDE. From this picture, perhaps you can also find and enjoy it. SO GOOD!

I have many opportunities here in my wonderful neighborhood to share, and would appreciate prayer for direction if I should start a neighborhood Bible study (and WHAT to use as a study!). My neighbors have all self-assigned themselves to make sure I’m OK all the time.......I AM the “grandma “ according to age!
